Club Nights

At each meeting there will normally be a number of prepared speeches plus a couple of topics sessions. See the Learning to Speak section for more about what we do. But we often vary the programme to bring variety, interest and new learning experiences to members.

Don't suffer in silence. The really essential element of Speakers Club is that you get to practice in a really supportive, risk-free environment where you will receive plenty of constructive feedback and evaluation to allow you to grow in confidence and move on.

The Basics

The Club

It's really about making a start and doing it at your own pace. As a club we constantly look for new ways to encourage new members into the learning process and to stretch some of the more experienced members. Everyone has something to offer and your contribution will be valued.

We try new ideas to break the ice and keep up with today's styles of communication.

If there is something you think is missing from the programme - let us know. We will always endeavour to include up to date material in the schedule. But regardless of changes in modern communication styles, the basics still apply.
